So what is there to say about me? My name is Margaret Ann Fisher, I'm currently thirty-eight years old, I live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I'm the youngest of three daughters, I love animals, Japanese food, mythology, gaming of all kinds, and especially I love writing. As for professional credentials I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a concentration in folklore/mythology and a minor in English. In retrospect it probably would've made more sense to get the degree in English, but if nothing else I think the years of study in different cultures has given me a greater ability to create more realistic cultures in my own writing.

 

   As for my writing I've currently written five novels, with the sixth one in progress and many more floating around in my head to be written eventually. Fantasy has always been my reading and writing passion...from the days I was an antisocial kid sitting under a tree reading The Hobbit and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe while my fellow students were playing to when I finally decided to start writing the tales my brain had concocted down. I prefer contemporary fantasy; fantasy that uses what would otherwise be our own ordinary world as a backdrop with my own twists added to it, but I won't discount my interest in other genres, and maybe at a later date I'll indulge my temptation to explore high fantasy, historical fiction, or even horror.
